The 2023 Ford Edge gets power from two engine options to cater to various needs and demands of SUV buyers. These are two small displacement EcoBoost® engines designed to deliver an even mix of performance and efficiency.
The standard engine is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost® that makes 245 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. It uses a twin-scroll turbocharger and sends drive to a front- or all-wheel drive layout. The gearbox is an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The top-spec powertrain is a 2.7-liter EcoBoost® that uses the same cylinder block as Ford’s 6.7-liter Power Stroke. Output is 335 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. It sends drive to the front- or all-wheel drive via a seven-speed automatic transmission.
